FeSi soft magnetic powder for molding choke
Ferrosilicon powder is made by melting a fixed ratio of high purity iron and crude ferrosilicon in an induction furnace. The molten metal is then atomised using a high pressure stream of nitrogen gas to produce a high-grade ferrosilicon powder.
Because of its excellent DC bias and extremely low core loss, the gas atomized soft magnetic alloy powder is widely used in the manufacture of high performance magnetic powder core and large current molding choke.
